DUAL RAKER Chain uses modified standard chain saw chain cutters with material ground away and a second side-piece riveted on to form a seat for the carbide tip to be soldered to. Compared to B3E and other single raker carbide-tipped chains the backing and soldering surfaces are increased and the additional raker gauge helps protect the carbide tip.
DUAL RAKER is the most expensive to repair because the manufacturing technique of soldering on an additional side plate (essentially a second standard chain saw cutter cut in half lengthwise) captures 2 drive links, so a replacement cutter consists of: 1- carbide-tipped cutter, 2-drive links, 2 presets and 2 tie straps.
CUTTERS EDGE DUAL RAKER CARBIDE-TIPPED Chain is the same chain as the Tempest “Raptor”. SuperVac “Chisel” and Team Equipment’s “Terminator” Chains.
