Detail Description

DITEQ D23 RESCUE SAW DIAMOND BLADE

DITEQ’s rescue blades are vacuum bonded diamond. There are no segments welded to the core - the core and segments are all one piece with the diamonds bonded to the blade. Through this process, DITEQ has created a blade that will cut through almost any material without sacrificing the life of the blade. These blades are faster, cheaper and safer to use than carbide tip blades or abrasive blades.

Cut Through Almost Anything with the DITEQ Rescue Blade!

Vacuum bonded segments rip through virtually anything you can find in a rescue situation including:

  • Bullet-proof glass
  • Railroad Rails
  • Rebar and other steel materials
  • Metal Roofs
  • PVC and other plastic materials
  • Not for use on wood or wood composite materials

Additionally, the DITEQ rescue blade is the only rescue blade on the market that meets or exceeds all requirements of both OSHA and ANSI for use in emergency situations by firefighters.

    Rescue Blade Testing Nov 2008:
DIEEQ was the recently allowed the privilege of attending a Kansas City structural collapse rescue training. Teams spent Three days at the former Bannister Mall conducting building collapse operations with agencies throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area. They worked in multiple scenarios and dealt with hazards including shoring operations, breaching, rope systems, rescue, search operations, patient care, hazardous materials, and terrorist incidents.

DITEQ’s 14” D-23 Rescue blade were tested on various brands of saws using them to gain access through the roof of the movie theater so the teams could rappel in to the theater, the blades works well cutting the steel on the roof and in removing all obstructions like Conduit, Pipes, Ventilation Duct work for the HVAC system, and easily cut through I-Beams, Steel Rebar, & the Reinforced Concrete floor of the theater.

DITEQ’s 2” C-32 Concrete core bits were used to drill Rescue camera access holes in the steel reinforced floors.

Two of the teams used the small diameter 4-1/2”, the 7” D-23 Rescue blades, After the teams found their victims they had to exit from under the theater floor from a secondary escape hole cut in the concrete floor form the under side in a confined space of less than 24” and the team using the 4-1/2” Rescue blade on a Right Angle grinder found it was easer to see in a confined space what you were cutting and finished their escape holes faster than the teams using other methods.

Teams commented they found they could take fewer tools in to the building not needing multiple saws and blades for cutting concrete and a separate saw for cutting steel.

The DIEQ Rescue blade were able to perform all the cutting tasks required.
