The ESS Interchangeable Component Eyeshield (ICE) is a complete yet lightweight eye protection system that offers a unique combination of high-ballistic impact resistance, unrestricted field of view, and interchangeable lenses for effective eye protection in any light condition.
ICE™ Series Features:
A set of 3 extra-thick 2.4mm high-impact polycarbonate lenses (clear, amber, and smoke gray) for interchangeable use in any light condition
An unlimited field of view thanks to the frameless ESS ICE design
Adjustable temples that can be made longer or shorter, and have malleable ear bends that custom fit to any user
An anatomical nose pad that is compatible with the ESS prescription lens carrier accessory (sold separately)

Thick 2.4mm lenses can stop a shotgun blast from 35 feet (as shown by the dimpled but not-penetrated lens to the right). All ICE 2.4 lenses pass the rigorous MIL-PRF-31013 .15 caliber ballistic impact test.
