FDNY SPEC LIFE SAVING ROPE 9/16" - LENGTH 150FT This is the life saving rope used by the New York City Fire Department. 9/16" diameter by 150 feet long, this is a 3-strand rope with double locking steel snap hooks spliced into both ends.
This rope is Dupont Nylon, 6.6 type 707, absorbs high impact forces required during rescue pick-ups. Controlled stretch as observed in FDNY rope rescues.
