Gemtor Cable Grab
This compact and lightweight cable grab is made of stainless steel and is designed to follow the ascending and descending movement of a worker along a vertical wire rope lifeline. The grab can be used on 5/16” – 3/8”, 7 x 19 stainless steel wire rope lifelines and a unique patented design allows for it to be attached, detached or positioned at any point along the lifeline. An energy absorbing lanyard must be used for attachment of the cable grab to the back D- ring of a fullbody harness. CSA Z259.2.1 approved.
