NEW YORKER PIKE POLE, SOLID WHITE ASH
Pike Pole use originated out of the need to tear down walls to prevent the spread of fire. Pike Poles have continued to be the preferred tool to tear through sheetrock and ceilings to find hot spots and hidden fires. The design of the hook enables the user to pull debris that is at a distance and the D-handle at the end enhances use of the pole.
This New Yorker Pike Pole is the preferred tool of the New York City Fire Department and has a special hollow back on various length models from 4 ft. to 12ft. This makes it a lighterweight tool to use, the head is a malleable iron.
