Petzl Croll Ascender

This ascender is designed for SRT (Single Rope Technique) in caving. Its unique shape enables it to lie flat on the chest between a chest and a seat harness. This ascender is designed as a top rope self-belay device. Weight 5.1 oz. (144g). Made in France.

Used with the ASCENSION for ascending the rope.

Chrome-plated steel cam has inclined teeth and self-cleaning slots to provide grip on wet, icy or muddy ropes.
Ergonomic spring-loaded catch allows the cam to be held in the open position and facilitates one-handed installation or removal of the device.
Angled attachment hole and special shape allow device to remain flat against the stomach.
Rectangular upper hole for attachment of SECUR shoulder straps to position the CROLL correctly.
The CROLL slides up the rope easily as the user ascends.
