Actually, the Nightsaber AL5000 is the same light as the FD1, but with one exception. The Nightsaber AL5000 has a removable shoulder strap with the quick release shoulder strap feature.

The Nightsaber AL5000 is a high intensity industrial grade rechargeable handlight that provides remarkable performance in Firefighting, Police, Security and many other industrial applications. The AL5000 is powered by a state of the art 6 volt sealed lead battery and a GE halogen sealed beam. The rugged, weatherproof and impact resistant AL5000 delivers up to 60,000 candle power. The AL5000 features full size wrapped handle with built-in eyelets to accept a two inch wide full length adjustable carry strap.

Additionally, it has nickel plated brass charging contacts, one-piece waterproof housing, rubber-coated internal electrical connections, self cleaning push-button switch and a heavy-duty rubber bezel.

Base / Charger:
The AL5000 base/charger unit incorporates the latest in solid state electronics and super rugged high tech plastic. The fully automatic charger features two LED indicators that display Red for Charging and Green for Charged. For maximum durability the base/charger is fitted with stainless steel charging contacts.

Versatile charging capabilities include: 110VAC, 220VAC, and 12VDC power sources.
