STERLING F4 ESCAPETECH FIREFIGHTER ESCAPE KIT

The Sterling Rope F4 EscapeTech Personal Escape Kit is an excellent "bailout kit" for firefighters and fire departments with a limited budget.  This kit uses Sterling 7.5mm EscapeTech rope - an NFPA 1983-2006 compliant rope constructed with a Technora sheath and a nylon core.  

The F4 EscapeTech Kit includes:

• Sterling F4 auto-locking descender
• SAFE-D 3-stage carabiner to attach the escape system to the user
• Crosby anchor hook sewn into the rope for added strength
• 7.5mm x 50-feet of Sterling EscapeTech  cut and heat resistant rope
• Carry bag
• Escape System weight: 3.5 lbs.

Facts about EscapeTech rope:  EscapeTech rope is certified to NFPA 1983-2006 for certified ropes.  This rope has a Technora sheath and a nylon core.  The strength of the EscapeTech rope is 3,912 lbs. MBS, has excellent resistance to abrasion, as well as being cut and heat resistant (to 932-degrees).  EscapeTech rope is somewhat supple and easily packed in a carry bag.    


NOTE:  The Sterling F4 EscapeTech Kit is NOT an NFPA 1983-2006 certified "Escape System".
