This is the official rope of the FDNY Personal Escape System. Researched, designed, and tested directly with FDNY Research & Development. 100% Technora kernmantle construction provides longest exposure time to direct heat. Technora fibers offer the best heat resistance for repeated exposure to extreme temperatures. Compact and east to pack in pocket or bag. Superior abrasion and cut resistant construction. Certified to NFPA 1983, 2001 edition by Underwriters Laboratories.
