In 1995, Frank was selected as the Kearny Firefighter of the Year and received the medal of valor for rescuing a man from nearly drowning in the Passaic River. In 2001, he was selected as the Hudson County Italian/American Firefighter of the Year. Frank has received degrees from the University of Charleston, West Virginia and Jersey City State College. He currently resides in Toms River, New Jersey
