for structural fire fighting situations. The design of the Thorogood Hellfire
Boots effectively meet and exceed the demands encountered in the field of duty,
these boots can make a significant difference in emergency circumstances. The
one piece liner prevents steam and heat being trapped and the layers of
insulating material protect the toes and reduce conductive heat. Additional
insulation and cushioning make these boots comfortable while protecting in
high temperature environments.
The 807-4004 model combines all the great features of the Hellfire line with the additional ability to take on haz-mat situations. The splash-protective vulcanized rubber construction is dipped in neoprene latex for chemical as well as heat resistance. The liner is 3mm neoprene foam/nylon combined with a 3.5mm polyester needled felt mid-layer. The sole is a polyurethane traction lug that resists chemicals and oil as well as heat and punctures.
