All Hands Fire Equipment works cooperatively with First Due Training and other Certified Petzl EXO Trainers to offer the best and most comprehensive training available.
Presently, we have a staff of 12 Certified EXO instructors and additional instructors to ensure the highest level of training and safety.
Our staff of experienced instructors are officers and firefighters from cities such as FDNY, Washington DC, Albany, Anne Arundle, Fort Lauderdale and other active city departments.

COURSES OFFERED
PETZL EXO END-USER COURSE:
This is the prerequisite class that is required by Petzl to purchase the Petzl EXO Personal Safety System. The End User class is a 8-10 hour class that covers all aspects of use and care for the Petzl EXO. Each students will slide on the system a minimum of 9 times.
PETZL EXO REFRESHER COURSE:
This class is designed as an Annual Refresher for those firefighters who have a Petzl EXO Personal Safety System. This class is 6-8 hours and consists mostly of hands-on bailout slides on the Petzl EXO.
PETZL EXO TRAIN-the-TRAINER COURSE:
This 3-day comprehensive course is designed to provide the basics for fire departments to develop and instruct their personnel on the proper use, deployment and care of the Petzl EXO Personal Escape System. Upon successful completion of this course, student trainers will be "authorized" to teach the "End User" Petzl EXO course to their members. |

About Our Training Program ...
All Hands
Fire Equipment, in cooperation with First Due Training has become the leading source for firefighter escape systems training in the Northeast.
Why? We have trained hundreds of firefighters, and supervised thousands of safely executed bailout slides, with hundreds more scheduled for 2009!
Our training staff is a diverse group of experienced firefighters. Many are active and retired members of the New York City Fire Department, and have trained hundreds of firefighters in not only bailout and firefighter escape, but also firefighter survival and technical rescue.
Our training program(s) are designed to build student confidence and create "muscle memory". When a firefighter last resort is to jump out of an upper floor window to survive, we take that very seriously. Our course provides those skill necessary to be instinctive and reactive.
