The soft sides and hard bottom, along with its heavy duty velcro straps, hold standard fire hose tightly and allows the bag to conform around the hose and the firefighter who is carrying the bag. This allows for more comfort as opposed to a rigid type of bag. Additionly, the hard bottom and two (2) skid rails allows for dragging with minimum wear and tear. The wide and heavy duty adjustable padded shoulder strap allows for increased comfort and weight distribution for the firefighter carrying the bag. The padded shoulder strap, handles are also placed at both ends to accommodate to two firefighters carrying the bag. The bag is also equipped with an addition pocket on the outside for carrying additions smaller tools, or nozzle tips. MOST IMPORTANT…..EASY DEPLOYMENT This bag is only easy to carry, but allows for easy deployment of the hose. With a quick release of the thumb clips the shoulder strap is removed, and pulling back of the two Velcro straps, opens the top of the bag completely. This allows for quick deployment! Also, because of the wide opening, the bag can be pack tactically so that the crew can simultaneously deploy the supply end and begin to stretch the attack end of the hose. DIMENSIONS: 12” Wide X 11.5” High X 32” Long HARD BOTTOM: Constructed of a hard plated polyethylene bottom and two (2) polyethylene rails that elevate and protect the bottom of the bag. CAPACITY: 150’ of 1-3/4"” double jacket fire hose with nozzle. 25’ of 3” double jacketed hose, gated wye fitting and 100’ of 1-3/4” double jacket fire hose with nozzle.
