100% Firefighter designed, firefighter tested, and firefighter proven.
* RAD SYSTEM ™ RAPID AIR DEPLOYMENT - Our unique designed area of the bag is designed to hold both a quick connect and an extra mask pre-connected to your air bottle. Be prepared for all contingencies such as mask failure or incompatible masks. Since that mask and quick valve are already attached you will save precious time. To access these tools just press the quick release buckle. The flap is lined with reflective tape and has an extra long strap. Seven loops for attaching accessories On the backside are seven loops made from durable webbing that can be used to attach strobes, rope bag and any other accessories you prefer to carry. Being placed on the back, these loops will be out of the way when the shoulders straps are in use. When using a standard SCBA holder the tools will face out and be out of the way of the brackets.
* DRAG STRAP - The drag strap is to be used for low-level entry and rescue. Some conditions will force the rescuer to have to crawl on his/her knees. The RIT BAG can easily be drug across the ground without snagging or tearing. When the rescued firefighter needs to exit at a low level they have the option to drag the bag next to them while receiving the new air. The large 2” strap is easy to grab, see, and is very strong. Two tool pockets The RIT BAG has two pockets with large loops for easy opening. Each pocket has two pouches that will allow you to carry up to four tools. We recommend that you carry at least one large cable cutter and one pair of tin snips. Many departments will carry two set of each on one bag so no matter which side of the bag is next to you, you will always know that both tools will be there. Other departments have one set of these tools and also include a flashlight and light sticks.
* KEVLAR ARAMID STRAP - The large shoulder strap, made from Kevlar Aramid, is strong and heat resistant. This Kevlar Aramid strap will stand up against the high temperature debris of a fire during rescue while dragging the firefighter to safety. The last thing you want is the strap breaking when rescuing a down firefighter. The two-inch width is easy to grab and see. We use metal quick release buckles that adjust to fit your RIT member or victim.
* QUICK RELEASE BUCKLES - The quick release buckles can be used with gloves and are similar to traditional SCBA buckles. They are made from metal that is very strong and heat resistant. When in the process of rescuing the firefighter speed is essential. The strap can be quickly wrapped around a firefighter’s chest and buckled, securing the bag around the firefighter.
* STREAM LINE DESIGN - For efficient RIT team operations we have designed a slim bag. Large RIT bags slow down the rescue. Size, weight and complexity impede the speed of a rescue. This slim design allows a rescuer to carry only the necessary equipment needed. This bag can be used in tight areas without getting hung-up. The large pocket flaps cover up the tools so they don’t snag. The top of the bag securely ties down the bottle to form a torpedo shape that will help keep the bag snag-free.
* VISIBILITY - High quality reflective tape has been placed in key areas of the bag. The yellow color of the RIT BAG is easily recognizable. Together, they create a very visible bag whether it’s in a smoky room or late at night.
* ADAPTABILITY - The RIT BAG has been designed to hold all makes and sizes of bottles.
* MADE IN THE USA - Our products are made here in Seattle Washington. Most of the materials we use are also made in the USA.
* EASY TO USE & TRAIN
