Ponn Supreme is a double jacketed rubber lined fire hose. The inner and outer jackets are made from 100% spun polyester. The tightly woven fabric results in a hose that lays flat while being very resistant to abrasion and kinking. The smooth bore of the synthetic rubber tube leads to very low friction loss. Ponn Supreme comes in sizes from 1-1/2 inch to 3 inch, and is available in an assortment of Dura-Cote colors ranging from red and orange to yellow, tan, and blue. Color coding allows for an immediate identification of the hose lines between the pump operator and the nozzle man. If desired, a 1 inch woven stripe is available in the following colors: red, yellow, blue, tan, green, black, silver, and purple. While Ponn Supreme was designed for supply and attack fire ground operations, with a 1200 psi (83 bar) burst in sizes up to 2-1/2 inches, it is also suitable for relay pumping, industrial fire fighting, master stream appliances, and use at airport crash rescue scenes.
