All aluminum parts are made of extrusions, and are hardcoat anodized to resist corrosion and abrasion. 3-Part/CASTM Binding Snap-tite's exclusive 3-Part/CASTM design, which uses the same tail piece and compression ring found on our reliable CASTM binding, ensures better coupling retention, reduces hang up in the field, and allows for easy repair. Available in 4 inch through 6 inch Storz, threaded or self-locking. Adapters All Snap-tite Adapters permit connecting Snap-tite Storz couplings to any threaded connection. This allows the user to take advantage of the speed and ease of assembling the Snap-tite Storz when combining it with threads on the hose, pumper, or hydrant. The adapters are made from lightweight aluminum forgings, castings, and extrusions, and are hardcoat anodized for added durability. Storz to Storz adapters allow the user to connect couplings of different sizes, which is especially useful in mutual aid situations.
