Delta Hydro Hose Tester 2000 Gas Model-SS

The hose tester does not include these required items in order to conduct hose testing. These can be purchased separately:

  • Adapters: To test any size other than that of your tester outlets or other threads appropriate adapters are necessary. These adapters should be Rigid Female to Male of whichever thread or coupling size required. Example: On the CDHT2000SS check valves are 2 ½” NST thread, for another other than 2 ½” NST additional adapters would be required for 1 ½”, 1 ¾” or 2” hoses - for example 2 ½” NST Rigid Female x 1 ½” NST Male.
  • Bleed Caps: Bleed caps are used to bleed the air hose while being filled with water. You will need to have bleed caps for all size & thread you have to test. Example: 1 ½” NST Bleed Cap, 2 ½” Canadian threaded Bleed Cap (for Canadian customers only), 5” Storz bleed cap etc.. Also required 2 ½” NST bleed caps to cap off the unused check valves when testing LDH.
  • Lead lines: Lead lines are required when testing any hose with a larger diameter than 2 ½” due to the weight of the water filled hose. Attaching hoses larger than 2 ½” directly to the manifold will eventually damage the unit and will not be covered under warranty. All outlets can be used to test LDH, however for most efficient use it is recommended to utilize the 2 bottom outlets.
  • Safety Tie Lines: Strongly recommended. Each of the 6 outlets can test up to 300 feet of hose, with a maximum total of 1,800 feet of hose on the tester. All 6 hose lengths should be tied together behind each coupling (except the couplings on the tester) This is done for safety reasons, should a coupling let go of the hose while under pressure, the whipping hose lines can cause serious injury and damage to the Hose testing unit.
