This deluxe Man vs Machine Kit features the Ring Rescue Electric Ring Cutter. The Dolphin™ Ring Cutter cuts even the most difficult ring materials, significantly reduces the risk of thermal burn compared to other electric cutting methods, and is one person operation for a seamless ring cutting process. It’s fast, safe and effective. The Kit also includes the Compression Device which is used in cases where preserving the ring is important to your patient. The device shrinks finger size to help you remove the ring intact.

All Hands Fire, working in cooperation with PL Vulcan Fire Training Concepts, has developed this Man vs. Machine Rescue Kit.  

The fire service responds to a wide range of emergencies.  One technical and dynamic type incident is a person trapped in machinery.  An entrapment in machinery includes (but is not limited to) entrapment in printing presses, meat grinders, industrial machines, conveyors, snow blowers, etc.  It also includes anything from as basic as a ring removal to a technical entrapment in agricultural machinery.  

The kit has been created and is based on the PL Vulcan training program "Man vs. Machine".  This class is offered throughout the United States and at the national trade shows such as FDIC. 


NOTE:  Specialized training in machinery rescue is highly recommended before attempting a rescue of any kind, including machinery entrapment or entanglement rescues.  Also, the items contained in this Man vs. Machine Rescue Kit were selected and recommended based on the training program "Man versus Machine Rescue" that is offered by PL Vulcan Training Concepts and taught nationally and annually at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC).
