PMI Tandem Prusik Kit
Tandem prusiks are a common tool for belaying heavy loads. PMI’s Tandem Prusik kit is designed in accordance with “Rigging for Rescue” recommendations, and includes two pre-tied prusiks, load release kit, and complete instructions for use. Keep in mind that actual performance of a tandem prusik belay is highly variable, and can be affected by weather, rope/cord condition, direction of pull, etc. Before using any tandem prusik setup in a life safety application, test the system thoroughly to ensure that it will perform as you expect it to.
