Trench Rescue Equipment

In situations where someone gets trapped in a trench, trench rescue operations can be very precarious and delicate. The biggest risk surrounding trench rescue is that the trenches can potentially collapse or cave in, placing victims at greater risk and potentially trapping emergency responders in the trench as well.

To prevent this, trench rescue equipment includes harnesses to help pull rescuers and victims out of the trench safely and helmet lights to ensure visibility in low-light environments. Torches and cutting equipment are also available for precision cutting to remove equipment or debris in trenches as safely as possible. For severely injured victims, a spine splint can help keep victims as protected as possible during extraction.
