FDNY Style Search & Guide System
Researched, Designed and in use by the FDNY, this search and guide rope system is upgraded and improved. This kit is compact and lightweight, with highly visible rope that is strong and heat resistant and has a double-action aluminum snap-hook.
The Bag:
The newly designed carry pack, measures 16” high by 5.5” by 5.5”. The shoulder strap is adjustable and made of 1.5” webbing that is slightly rigid to allow easily finding in limited visibility. The strap also comes with a quick release seat belt style strap.
The Rope:
The rope is the Sterling Searchlite - developed for FDNY. 7.5mm x 220 ft. (67m) in length, with reflective fibers in the sheath.

Fantastic search line kit.

Excellent large area search line setup. No nonsense design. Hooks are stitched on and bag is super tough. Rope deploys easily and coils back easily when re-packing. The reflective trim really stands out. The reflective trim in the rope lights up when it gets hit with a handlight. Great feature.
