PRESS is the original pre-rigged escape safety system, dating back to 1998 when the Fire Fighter Rescue Escape Device (FFRED) rescue system was invented. This concept has been R I T Rescue & Escape System's focus to improve firefighter safety for more than 10 years. Emergency egress should be 100% pre-rigged to the harness, escape line and descending device. RIT revolutionized the pre-rigged concept for emergency egress and offers the system in more configurations than any other manufacturer. Our class II harness has proven itself to be a flexible and durable solution for various applications involving firefighter safety. RIT incorporated pre-rigged egress to this harness several years ago, but the concept has not caught on until now. Unfortunate circumstances have created a need and demand for a class II pre-rigged escape safety system
