Accountability Stake
Accountability Boards allow fire departments to track and manage their personnel while operating at an emergency scene. When firefighters are assigned to a task, their Accountability Tag (#ACT-1) is placed on one of the board's rings and their assignment identified/written in marker on the board.
The Accountability Stake is used when you cannot dedicate personnel to collect the Accountability Tags at the egress point.
The stake is placed beside the door and Firefighter will “Tag In” to the ring on the Accountability Stake, they will retrieve the tags immediately upon exit from the structure.
An officer outside the structure must monitor the accountability Stake and take care of all Personnel Accountability Reports.
