Rescue Webbing & Rope

A staple of any emergency bailout kit is a rope, however, there are multiple kinds of rope, and every type has a purpose. Here you can find the rescue webbing and rope that is right for you. Just like we learn at the academy, every firefighter should have a piece of rope in their pocket because you’ll never know when you might need it, but you always will need it.

An important distinction between rescue webbing and rope is that most types of rope are far stronger and more abrasion-resistant than webbing. This vulnerability to being cut open has its purpose, primarily when time doesn’t allow for the webbing to be properly dismantled, but you should consider the various types of rope instead if strength and durability are a must.
