The SuperPASS® 5X is an upgradeable crossover to the TPASS® 5. It can also be purchased and used like a SuperPASS® 5. It is a new, rugged, stand-alone “PASS” (Personal Alert Safety System) with auto-on activation and migration path for budget conscience departments. The device is field upgradeable at any time to the wireless signaling features of a TPASS® 5.

• SuperPASS® 5X is eligible for funding under the funding category of PPE and equipment
• SuperPASS® 5X is a unique PASS alarm that can be moved from one piece of protective clothing to another and does not require SCBA
• SuperPASS® 5X keeps the Firefighter NFPA 1500 Compliant when they remove their SCBA and return to the hazard area for overhaul and other operations
• The RF PASS field upgrade makes SuperPASS® 5X an NFPA1982 Compliant RF PASS for use with In-Command® Full Crew or First-In Emergency Signaling and Automated Accountability Systems. These are classified under the funding category of equipment.
• TPASS® 5 is used as part of an NFPA1982 Compliant RF PASS used to support multi-agency accountability systems for mutual aid and mass events. Accountability systems are classified under the funding category of equipment.
