Sterling FCX Escape System:

The Sterling FCX system is a Firefighter Escape System designed to offer firefighters a quick option for rapid egress from an upper floor in untenable fire conditions.  The user can deploy the system, anchor to the interior of the room, and bail out of a window in seconds.

The FCX descender has an auto-locking feature and also an anti-panic feature. Both designed to prevent uncontrolled or over speeding the device. The large red lever provides easy access and use with a gloved hand.

Gemtor 546 Harness:

Unique front adjustable leg strap design allows for comfort during normal tasks and ease of adjustment (tightening) when harness is deployed. Single waist belt adjustment in the rear.

The Length of the A-Frame remains fixed regardless of waist belt adjustment.

• Sturdy, 1 3/4 wide Nylon webbing is stitched with high strength Nylon thread.
• Unique design lowers the body’s center of gravity and helps reduce the possibility of toppling.
• Sliding D-Ring attachment point for Escape Systems.
• Left or Right side opening to accommodate all types of bunker pants.
• Triple locking Pompier hook feature automatic closing and locking gate with a 2” side opening. Hook is classified as 9,000 pound minimum breaking strength NFPA general use carabiner by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
• Meets NFPA 1983-2017, classified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
• Harness Provided extreme versatility during fire and rescue operations and does not limit mobility during other tasks.
