ECO CAF® 3-OG Compressed Air Foam System is designed to meet the budgetary restraints of both fire departments and industry nationwide. ECO CAF® 3-OG uses no outside pressure vessel to operate 100 - 120 PSI from a standard air compressor. ECO CAF® 3-OG dispenses approximately 30 gallons of finished foam. Light weight and compact, the ECO CAF® 3-OG can use any style of foam including Class A, B, AFFF and AR foams. FAQs:

What maintenance does the ECO CAFS require?

Little to no maintenance is required for the lifetime of this unit, providing reasonable care is taken to protect it from the elements. It is recommended that the unit be shot twice a year to keep air lines free and clear of hard water deposits. It is also recommended that the PSI gauge be checked at annually.

Can the unit be used with any type foam concentrate?

Yes. The ECO CAFS can use any style of foam concentrate including Class A, B, and ARF (alcohol resistant foam).

Can I adjust the consistency of foam produced by the ECO CAFS from wet to dry?

Yes. This can be achieved by partially closing the discharge valve on the unit to approximately 50%. A wetter foam can be achieved by partially closing the hose nozzle approximately 50% to 75%. As the foam discharges through the nozzle with the nozzle partially closed, the bubbles are stripped and turned back into water.

If a part or component is broken in the field, how do I replace it?

All parts and components can be ordered or replaced through All Hands, or direct from ECO CAFS Products.

What is ECO CAFS warranty?

Each systems comes with a non-transferable, two-year warranty cover manufacturers defects

Will ECO CAFS work with an adjustable nozzle?

Yes. A straight bore nozzle is preferred but an adjustable nozzle can be used if desired.

Can I use nitrogen in place of standard air?

Yes. Nitrogen is an inert gas and works well as an alternative.
