Tohatsu is the first to offer a battery-less EFI system that provides quick throttle response and very smooth rides on the water. The upper and lower motor cover features a more modern look, and easier access to regular maintenance items. The manual start model comes equipped with a basic tiller handle which includes a shift handle and kill switch. When you need compact power, the 30 HP four stroke has exactly what you need.

Pump Jet:
Design and Orientation
- By orienting the pump jet "looking forward" 100% of the outboard's horsepower is utilized. Slight or no loss of boat speed.
- The rotating action of the rotor on the water entering the pump jet contains and focuses the water jet out of the nozzle exit. The result is improved thrust.
- Rotor is encased in a housing that reduces the likelihood of personal contact or injury
- Rotor housing is smaller than a standard propeller diameter
