The Allegro lid lifter magnetic manhole opener is made for workers who need to remove and replace manhole covers on their own. The benefit of having the magnetic manhole lid lifter is that it minimizes stress and strain on back and body. This device is collapsible for easy storage and transport, allowing the Allegro magnetic lid lifter to access uneven textured surfaces found on manhole covers with dual position lifting points. The manhole cover lid lifter provides the power to loosen the grip of stubborn covers. Thus, the manhole opener no longer requires the use of a pry bar. For safety purposes, the magnet must be in contact with manhole cover to be engaged. Moves manhole covers up to 36" in diameter. Offered with a steel or aluminum dolly.
