Petzl Moveable Control Point (MCP) Rigging Kit

The Petzl Moveable Control Point (MCP) Rigging Kit simplifies the process of ordering and setting up a marine control point for swiftwater rescue operations. This is the same MCP system used by All Hands Equipment and Training in our Swiftwater Rescue Technician courses.

The system helps shore-based personnel control and position a boat operating in fast-moving water. Anchor points are established on the near and far shores and connected through a reeved carriage pulley system, allowing the shore team to assist the boat crew with controlled movement across the water.

• Helps position a boat toward the near shore, far shore, upstream, or downstream
• Allows shore-based personnel to assist the boat crew in fast-moving water
• Can be operated from a single shoreline by establishing a redirect on the far shore
• Simplifies ordering the equipment needed to establish a marine control point
• Based on the MCP system used in All Hands Swiftwater Rescue Technician training
