Solberg 3% Mil-Spec SFFF Foam Concentrate is specifically designed to meet the needs of military land-based operations. Solberg 3% Mil-Spec SFFF foam concentrate contains cutting-edge technology that is not persistent, contains no silicone/siloxane chemistries, and contains no intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Solberg 3% Mil-Spec SFFF is designed for fast knockdown and extinguishment of gasoline and Jet A fuel spill fires as identified in MIL-PRF-32725 (I1). This fluorine-free foam concentrate is a combination of proprietary hydrocarbon surfactants and additives delivering excellent foaming, vapor sealing, and stability.
Application
Solberg 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF is specifically designed for fast knockdown and extinguishment of gasoline and Jet A fuel spill fires. SOLBERG 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF can also be used with low-expansion discharge devices, including a variety of nozzles and monitors. It is fully compatible and easily proportioned with standard firefighting equipment, including in-line inductors, self-inducting nozzles, fire truck pumps, bladder tanks, pump skids, balanced pressure systems, and more.

Inspection
Solberg 3% Mil-Spec SFFF, or a premix solution, should be tested annually per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 11) and EN-13565-2 standards. A sample of the foam concentrate should be sent to the manufacturer or qualified third-party lab to confirm that physical properties and foam quality meet the specifications of the foam as originally supplied as per the requirements of NFPA 11 and EN-13565-2.
Storage/Material Compatibility
Solberg 3% Mil-Spec SFFF should be stored between 35°F - 120°F, preferably in the original containers. It is compatible with multiple materials of construction found in firefighting equipment.
