Seal Craft SAR Jet Tunnel Hull Raft

The Seal Craft SAR Jet Tunnel Hull Raft is a patent-pending welded thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) search and rescue raft built around an aluminum tunnel hull for jet outboard use, with a shallow-drive mud motor option available.

Hull & Construction

• 2,000-denier TPU cap with a 3,000-denier TPU hull and an additional 1 mm TPU film on the bottom
• Aluminum tunnel with HDPE covering directs water toward the jet intake
• Bottom CAT tubes add lift with heavy loads, direct water into the jet, and improve maneuverability in swift water
• Stern cones add buoyancy and improve lift on hole shot
• Continuous side grab line with protective tube rub strip

Transom

• Aluminum I-beam transom, much stronger than standard wood transoms
• Stainless steel transom brackets connect to the aft tubes
• 8" tunnel hull extension for use with a jack plate or added lift, custom cut to fit as needed

Interior

• EVA removable floor system covered in Cordura-type nylon
• EVA-padded removable benches with two adjustable seating positions to keep the work area accessible
• Oars carried along the bulwark tubes with integrated lock positions
• D-rings and inner-tube tie-down rings for stabilizing and balancing cargo loads
• Forward spray shield secures across the bow when fitted

Safety Systems

• Fail-safe internal bladder in each side: if a chamber loses air, over-inflating the adjacent chamber inflates the internal bladder into the compromised tube
• D7 inflation and self-adjusting safety blow-off valves release excess pressure, such as when the raft comes out of very cold water onto a trailer
• Leafield valves and quick-fill tank system

Warranty: 3-year warranty on all raft joints and craftsmanship of hull and transom.
